The ASEAN-Korea Centre is showcasing the cultural and artistic trends of each ASEAN Member States through the ‘ASEAN Culture and Tourism Update – ASEAN Museum Travel Series.’ This series is a collaborative effort with leading museums and art galleries from the 10 ASEAN nations.
In the September edition, we introduced Vietnamese culture and arts. Drawing from the rich heritage of its ancient kingdoms, Vietnam shines not only in traditional culture and arts but also in modern expressions. If you’re planning an enriching trip to Vietnam, check out the “ASEAN Museum Travel – Vietnam Series” This series features insights from Professor Kang Hee-jung, an expert in Asian culture and arts, as well as five must-visit museums highlighted by the travel magazine Pitch by Pitch. You can discover a wide range of museums from the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts, where you can delve into the nation’s culture and history, to the Bat Trang Ceramic Museum, which showcases the legacy of Bat Trang, a pottery village with a history spanning over 700 years.

한-아세안센터는 아세안 10개국의 대표적인 박물관, 미술관과 함께 공동 기획하는 ‘아세안 문화관광 업데이트-아세안 뮤지엄 여행 시리즈’를 통해 각 국가의 문화와 예술 트렌드를 소개하고 있습니다.
9월편에서는 베트남의 문화예술을 소개했습니다. 고대 왕국이 남긴 풍부한 문화 유산을 바탕으로 베트남은 전통적인 문화 예술뿐만 아니라 현대미술에서도 각광을 받고 있습니다. 특별한 베트남 여행을 준비하고 있다면, ‘아세안 뮤지엄 여행 시리즈-베트남편’을 통해 아시아 문화예술전문가인 강희정 교수가 들려주는 베트남 뮤지엄 이야기와 여행 매거진 피치바이피치가 소개하는 베트남에 가면 꼭 방문해야 할 5대 뮤지엄을 미리 만나보세요. 베트남의 문화와 역사를 만나볼 수 있는 ‘베트남 국립 미술관’에서부터 700년이 넘는 유서 깊은 도자기 마을 밧 짱의 역사를 간직한 ‘밧 짱 도자기 박물관’까지 다양한 뮤지엄들을 만나 볼 수 있습니다.
