The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) co-hosted the first ‘Sustainable Tourism Development Forum’ with the Philippine Department of Tourism in Palawan, Philippines on Jan 31.

Themed “Exploring Innovative Tourism Marketing Strategies,” the forum aptly addressed the Philippines’ evolving needs for digital marketing and sustainable tourism best practices in the tourism industry. With an emphasis on digital marketing, big data, and the overarching implications of digitalization in the tourism sector, the forum also enhanced the understanding of tourism stakeholders in the Philippines on customized tourism services and digital marketing strategies for Korean tourists.
