2023 아세안 청년 커리어 멘토십 프로그램

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) organized the ‘2023 ASEAN Youth Career Mentorship Program’ in ASEAN Hall, ASEAN-Korea Centre on September 16. 64 ASEAN students who are currently studying in Korea participated in this offline program, which was conducted over 4 sessions.

In Session 1, Professor Namuh Rhee, Adjunct Professor and Senior Advisor at the Graduate School of International Studies Career Development Center of Yonsei University, gave a lecture on the basics of job and internship search, as well as strategies for pursuing a career in Korea. During Session 2, Director Sunghee Ahn from KOTRA Global Talent Attraction Center highlighted their key programs and services in supporting international students to get a job in Korea. Meanwhile, in Session 3, Manager Melissa Ruru from Daewoong Foundation also introduced their scholarship programs that aim to assist international students gain helpful experiences in Korea. Lastly, the program also invited four ASEAN youth mentors, who have successfully started their career in Korea, to share their experiences through an interactive panel discussion in Session 4, followed by a networking session with the participating students.

한-아세안센터는 9월 16일 아세안 홀에서 ‘2023 아세안 청년 커리어 멘토십 프로그램’을 개최하여 국내 취업을 희망하는 아세안 유학생들을 위한 멘토링을 제공하였습니다. 동 행사에는 64명의 주한 아세안 유학생들이 오프라인으로 참여하였습니다.

세션 1에서 연세대학교 국제학대학원 겸임교수 겸 경력개발센터 고문인 이남우 교수가 한국 기업 취업 기초와 커리어를 쌓기 위한 전략에 대해 강연하였습니다. 세션 2는 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 글로벌인재센터 안성희 부장이 KOTRA가 국내 유학생들을 대상으로 진행하고 있는 프로그램에 대해 소개하였고, 세션 3는 대웅재단의 멜리사 루루 매니저가 한국에서 공부하는 유학생들의 대상으로 진행하고 있는 프로그램과 이에 대한 활용 방법을 설명하였습니다. 끝으로, 세션 4는 4명의 아세안 청년 멘토들과 학생들이 현장에서 소통하는 패널 세션과 네트워킹 세션이 마련되었으며, 참가 학생들은 국내 취업에 대한 궁금증을 해소하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
