2023 아세안 기업인상 세션

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC), together with Maekyung Media Group, jointly organized the “2023 ASEAN Entrepreneurs* Session” in conjunction with the World Knowledge Forum on September 13 at the Shilla Hotel, Seoul.
* The ASEAN Entrepreneurs Award is an award presented by the ASEAN-Korea Centre and Maekyung Media Group since 2018 to introduce ASEAN entrepreneurs to the Korean public and to build business network between ASEAN and Korea.

This year’s award winners are Ms. Tessa Wijaya, Co-Founder and COO of Xendit, a fintech company from Indonesia, and Mr. Tan Sri William Cheng*, Chairman of Lion Group company from Malaysia.
*Mr. Hyodong Oh, Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) of Lion Group received the award on behalf.

Following the awarding ceremony of the ASEAN Entrepreneurs Award, the Session also included a panel discussion on “The secret of innovation introduced by the winners of the ASEAN Entrepreneurs Award’’.

한-아세안센터는 9월 13일 서울신라호텔에서 매경미디어그룹과 함께 세계지식포럼 계기에 “2023 아세안 기업인상* 세션”을 공동 개최했습니다.
*아세안 기업인상은 아세안의 기업인을 국내에 소개하고, 한-아세안 간 비즈니스 네트워크를 강화하고자 2018년부터 한-아세안센터와 매경미디어그룹이 공동으로 수여하는 상입니다.

2023 아세안 기업인상은 인도네시아의 핀테크 유니콘인 ‘젠딧’사의 테사 위자야 공동창업자 겸 최고운영책임자와 말레이시아의 대기업 ‘라이언 그룹’의 윌리엄 쳉* 회장이 수상하였습니다.
*라이온그룹 윌리엄 쳉 회장 대신 오효동 최고경영개발책임자가 대신 대리수상하였습니다.

동 시상식에 이어 “아세안 기업인상 수상자가 소개하는 혁신의 비결”이라는 주제로 패널 토론도 진행되었습니다.
