한-아세안센터는 12월 8일 “제10차 아세안 연계성 포럼*”을 외교부와 공동으로 개최했습니다.

*2013년부터 개최된 아세안 연계성 포럼은 올해로 10주년을 맞은 국내 유일의 아세안 연계성 관련 행사입니다.

‘아세안 대화 상대국 간 파트너십을 통한 아세안 연계성 증진’을 주제로 개최한 이번 포럼에서는 한국과 아세안 외에도 여타 대화 상대국의 정부, 민간, 학계 분야의 전문가들이 모여 아세안 역내와 역외의 연계성 증진을 위한 그간의 노력과 미래 방향성에 대해 논의했습니다.

팬데믹 이후 2년 만에 오프라인으로 개최된 이번 포럼은 ▲개회식, ▲기조연설, ▲한-아세안 전문가 세션, ▲아세안 대화 상대국 세션, ▲아세안 회원국별 연계성 프로젝트 발표 및 2주간의 온라인 비즈니스 미팅으로 진행됐습니다.

ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) co-organized the “The 10th ASEAN Connectivity Forum*” with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea on 8 December.

* The ASEAN Connectivity Forum is currently the only forum in Korea that discusses issues on the ASEAN Connectivity. The event has been held for 9 consecutive years since 2013 and marked its 10th anniversary this year.

Under the theme ‘Advancing ASEAN Connectivity through Partnerships among ASEAN Dialogue Partners,’ the forum invited experts from the government, private and academic sectors of ASEAN as well as its dialogue partners, including Korea, to discuss the progress and future of intra- and extra-ASEAN Connectivity.

Held offline for the first time in two years since the outbreak of COVID-19, the forum consisted of ▲Opening Ceremony, ▲Keynote Speech, ▲ASEAN-Korea Expert Session, ▲ASEAN Dialogue Partners Session, and ▲ASEAN Connectivity Project Presentation by each ASEAN Member States, followed by online business meetings for 2 weeks.
