한-아세안센터는 아세안에 대한 인식과 이해도를 높이고 청년간 국제교류와 협력을 증진하기 위해 아세안 스쿨투어 프로그램과 청년대표단 견학 프로그램을 정기적으로 시행하고 있습니다.

9월 27일 한국장학재단 멘토링 프로그램 참가자들이 비대면으로 한-아세안센터의 청년 견학 프로그램에 참여했습니다. 학생들은 아세안, 한-아세안관계, 공공외교의 시각에서 본 한-아세안센터의 역할에 대한 강의를 들었습니다. 이어서 한-아세안센터 직원들과 소프트 파워, 미얀마 사태, 아세안 헌장 등 다양한 국제 이슈에 대한 토론도 했습니다.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) regularly runs the ASEAN School Tour Program and the Youth Visit Program to raise awareness and understanding of ASEAN and to promote international exchange and cooperation among young people in ASEAN and Korea.

On September 28, college students from the Korea Student Aid Foundation mentoring program participated in the Centre’s online Youth Visit Program. The students had the opportunity to gain knowledge about ASEAN, ASEAN-Korea relations, and the role of AKC from the perspective of public diplomacy. They then had a discussion session with directors of AKC on various topics including soft power, situation in Myanmar, and the ASEAN Charter.
