Participation in NextRise 2024

넥스트라이즈 2024 참가

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) participated in NextRise 2024, Seoul, which was held in COEX from 13-14 June. NextRise is one of the largest global startup fairs in Asia organized by Korea Development Bank and Korea Internationl Trade Association. Through this platform, the AKC has contributed to establishing the grounds for exchanges between ASEAN-Korea startups through startup pitching, one-on-one business meetings, and booth exhibition.

Activity wise, The AKC installed a booth aimed at promoting promising ASEAN startups and facilitating networking between ASEAN and Korea. 30 startups nominated by 10 ASEAN Member States were introduced through the exhibition. The startups come from diverse sectors ranging from artificial intelligence, e-commerce, fintech, and education platforms to pet care services.

This year in particular, all of the 4 winners of the ‘ASEAN-Korea Startup Week 2023’ were invited to the event and the 1st place winner, Food Market Hub (Malaysia), pitched their business model for inventory and cost management system designed for F&B businesses, connecting a curated supplier network at the ‘Bridge Stage’ in the event.

한-아세안센터는 6월 13-14일 코엑스에서 개최된 “넥스트라이즈 2024, 서울 (NextRise 2024, Seoul)”에 참가했습니다. 넥스트라이즈 2024는 산업은행과 무역협회가 주관하는 국내 최대 글로벌 스타트업 박람회로, 동 행사를 통해 한-아세안센터는 기업발표, 1:1 비즈니스 미팅, 부스 전시 등을 진행하였습니다.

한-아세안센터는 별도의 부스를 설치하여 아세안 유망 스타트업을 국내에 홍보하고 한국과 아세안 간 비즈니스 기회를 모색하는 장을 제공하였습니다. 이번 박람회에서 소개된 30개의 아세안 스타트업은 각국 정부의 추천을 받아 2023 한-아세안센터 스타트업 피칭대회에 참가했던 기업들로 각각 인공지능, 전자상거래 플랫폼, 교육, 펫케어 서비스 등에서 두각을 나타내고 있는 기업입니다.

특히 올해는 2023년 우승했던 4개 기업이 모두 초대되었으며 1위 기업인 말레이시아의 푸드마켓 허브 (Food Market Hub)는 동 행사 ‘브릿지 스테이지’(Bridge Stage)에서 진행된 “해외 스타트업 IR – Global (KDB NextRound X KITA Innobranch)” 세션에 아세안 기업 대표로 참가하여 클라우드 기반의 시스템을 통해 F&B 산업 내에서 효율적으로 재고 및 비용을 관리하는 솔루션을 제공하고 공급자 네트워크를 연결하는 비즈니스 모델을 소개하였습니다.
