Via ‘ASEAN Culture & Tourism Updates’, the ASEAN-Korea Centre showcases the beauty of each ASEAN countries. In February, our spotlight was on Brunei Darussalam.

To kick off, we invite you to explore the enchanting Luagan Lalak Forest Recreation Park, celebrated as one of Brunei’s most mystical natural wonders. In Bruneian, ‘”Luagan’” translates to ‘unflowing water,’ capturing the essence of this 270-hectare freshwater swamp nestled within the vibrant tropical rainforest. Located in the northern part of the Labi Forest Reserve, the park mirrors the azure skies of Brunei, offering a serene escape.

In addition, we present the featured article titled ‘Crossing the Temburong Bridge,’ highlighting Brunei Darussalam’s flagship national park, Ulu Temburong National Park. This article serves as a guide to relish the adventurous wildlife experience within the park.

한-아세안센터는 매월 ‘아세안 문화관광 업데이트’를 통해 아세안 각국의 아름다움을 소개합니다. 2월 아세안 문화관광 업데이트의 주인공은 브루나이였습니다.

먼저 브루나이에서 가장 신비한 자연의 경이로움을 담고 있는 매혹적인 루아간 라락 공원을 소개합니다. ‘루아간’은 브루나이어로 ‘흐르지 않은 물’이라는 뜻으로, 울창한 열대 우림 속에 자리잡은 270헥타르 규모의 담수 습지입니다. 라비 산림보호구역 북부에 위치한 이 공원은 브루나이의 푸른 하늘을 거울처럼 담아내며 고요한 휴식을 선사합니다.

당월 특집기사 ‘템부롱 다리를 건너’를 통해 브루나이의 대표적인 국립 공원인 울루 템부롱 국립공원에서 야생을 탐험해보세요.
