11 Pots 11 Colors: Capturing ASEAN’s Culture through Exhibition

열 하나의 마음, 열 하나의 빛: 아세안의 문화를 담은 공예 라이프스타일 전시회 개최

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) organized “ASEAN Week 2023” exhibiting ASEAN crafts and lifestyle at the COEX from November 8 to 11, under the theme of ’11 Pots 11 Colors – Colorful Heritage of ASEAN Crafts: Capturing the Light.’

The event introduced the unique crafts of 10 ASEAN member states, as well as a Joseon-inspired Korean item, to showcase the traditional craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations. In addition, the personal collections of Ambassadors from the 10 ASEAN countries to ROK were also exhibited to further raise awareness of the cultural values of ASEAN and strengthen the bonds between ASEAN and Korea.

한-아세안센터는 11월 8일부터 11일까지 코엑스에서 “열 하나의 마음, 열 하나의 빛 – 아세안의 공예, 색을 담다”를 주제로 ‘2023 아세안 위크’를 개최했습니다.

올해는 아세안 10개국의 대표 공예품과 더불어 조선백자의 아름다움이 담긴 한국 작가의 작품까지 전통과 문화유산을 바탕으로 총 11개국의 작품이 전시되었습니다. 또한, 주한 아세안 대사들의 소장품 컬렉션도 함께 선보여 아세안의 문화적 가치를 한국 대중들에게 소개하였습니다.
