한-아세안센터는 4월 20일 라오스 루앙프라방에서 ‘한-아세안 관광역량개발 워크숍’을 “코로나19 이후 한국 아웃바운드 관광 시장의 동향 및 전망”이라는 주제로 개최했습니다.

*한-아세안센터는 2009년부터 아세안 관광 관계자들의 경쟁력을 강화하고, 한국 관광객의 특성에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 ‘한-아세안 관광역량개발 워크숍’을 개최해 왔습니다.

이번 워크숍은 코로나19 이후, 라오스 관광산업의 회복을 위한 지속 가능한 관광 콘텐츠 개발 방안을 모색하며, 한국 관광객의 다양한 선호를 반영한 맞춤형 관광 서비스와 디지털 마케팅 전략의 중요성을 강조하는 자리로 주목받았습니다.

한국관광공사(KTO), 한양대학교 관광학부, 관광 스타트업 ONDA(온다)와 같은 관련 분야의 전문가들이 한국인의 여행 동향, 지속 가능한 관광, 디지털 관광 마케팅 전략에 대해 발표했습니다.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre held the ´ASEAN-Korea Tourism Capacity Building Workshop´ in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR on April 20.

*The ASEAN-Korea Centre has been organizing the “ASEAN-Korea Tourism Capacity Building Workshop’ in ASEAN Member States since 2009 with the objective to enhance tourism competitiveness of ASEAN and further develop the capacity of the ASEAN tourism sector.

The ‘ASEAN-Korea Tourism Capacity Building Workshop’ discussed different approaches for developing sustainable tourism products to bolster the Lao PDR’s tourism industry, which has been heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, the aim of the Workshop was also to enhance understanding on digital marketing strategies and tourism products to actively entice Korean tourists.

Representatives from the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), Hanyang University Tourism Department, and hospitality and tech startup (ONDA) participated as speakers to present the Korean travel trends, sustainable tourism development, and digital marketing strategies.
