제51차 한-아세안센터 집행위원회* 정례회의가 4월 19일 한-아세안센터에서 개최되었다.
* 한-아세안센터 집행위원회(Executive Board of the ASEAN-Korea Centre): 주한 아세안 10개국 대사관 및 한국 외교부 대표들로 구성된 센터 공식 감독 및 자문기구로 연 3회 정례회의 개최

센터는 ‘한-아세안 청년 상호 인식 조사 결과 발표 및 좌담회(4월),’ ‘아세안 무역전시회 (5월),’ ‘한-아세안 청년 네트워크 워크숍 (7월),’ ‘아세안위크 2023 (11월)’ 등 주요 사업들의 추진 계획을 공유하며, 집행위원들의 각별한 관심과 지원을 요청하였다.

집행위원들은 한국 정부가 발표한 ‘한-아세안 연대구상’을 통해 한-아세안 간 협력이 더욱 강화될 것을 기대하며, 센터 사업을 위한 적극적인 협력과 참여를 약속하였다.

The 51st Meeting of the Executive Board (EB)* of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) was held at the AKC on 19 April. 

* The AKC’s official supervisory and advisory body is comprised of representatives from the ten ASEAN Embassies in Seoul, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of ROK, in which regular meetings are held three times a year.

During the Meeting, the AKC Secretariat shared the progress and updates of AKC’s FY2023 programs. The AKC Secretariat further requested EB members’ continued interest and support for the upcoming key programs, such as the ‘Roundtable Discussions on the Results of the Survey on Mutual Perceptions of ASEAN and Korean Youths (April),’ ‘ASEAN Trade Fair (May),’ ‘ASEAN-Korea Youth Network Workshop (July),’ and ‘ASEAN Week 2023 (November)’.

Noting Korean government’s recent announcement on Korea-ASEAN Solidarity Initiative (KASI), which is expected to further strengthen the ASEAN-Korea relations, the EB members reaffirmed their commitment toward continuous and active cooperation and participation in the AKC programs.
