In December 2021, the number of ASEAN nationals in Korea recorded 538,248, with Vietnamese and Thai nationals forming the largest portions. Based on type of visa, temporary visitors are the largest group (179,758), followed by workers (168,072), students (72,535), and marriage migrants (62,895).
