한-아세안센터는 8월 31일부터 9월 15일까지 한국바이오협회(KoreaBIO)와 ‘한-아세안 바이오 파트너링 위크’를 진행합니다. 국내 최대 규모의 종합 바이오 컨벤션인 ‘바이오플러스-인터펙스 코리아 2021 (BIOplus-Interphex Korea 2021)’과 연계해 개최하는 이번 파트너링 행사에는 아세안 6개국(브루나이, 인도네시아, 라오스, 필리핀, 싱가포르, 베트남)에서 37개 기관 및 기업이 참여할 예정입니다.

온라인 플랫폼을 통한 비즈니스 홍보 및 온라인 파트너링은 8월 31일부터 9월 15일까지 총 2주간 진행될 예정으로, 이번 행사를 통해 ASEAN과 한국의 바이오 기업들이 미래 협력을 위한 잠재적 비즈니스 기회를 모색하고, 바이오 제약 및 의료 산업에서 ASEAN과 한국의 비즈니스 파트너십 협력을 강화해 나갈 예정입니다. 한-아세안센터는 한국바이오협회와 2019년 5월 바이오산업 육성 및 협력 확대에 관한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결한 이후 ‘한-아세안 바이오 라운드테이블 및 상담회’를 개최하는 등 한-아세안 바이오산업 협력 및 교류 증진의 기회를 지속적으로 마련해왔습니다.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) hosted the ASEAN-Korea Bio Partnering Week 2021 from August 31 to September 15 in conjunction with BIOPLUS-INTERPHEX KOREA 2021, the largest pharmaceutical and biotechnology conference in Korea. 37 companies from six ASEAN member states—Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Lao PDR, the Philippines, Singapore, and Viet Nam—were invited to the event to explore new partnerships with Korean counterparts in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries through online business meetings.

Since signing the memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization (KoreaBIO) in May 2019, the AKC has continuously worked to facilitate business exchanges and cooperation between ASEAN and Korea in the biotechnology industry.
