한-아세안센터는 7월 14일 주한아세안교수협의회(CAPK) 연례 회의를 온라인으로 개최했습니다. 회의에는 한국 대학에 재직 중인 교수들뿐 아니라 과거 한국에서 근무한 경험이 있는 동문들을 포함하여 총 7개 국적의 아세안 학자 23명이 참여했습니다.

이번 연례회의에서 센터는 참가자들의 아세안 및 한-아세안 관계 인식 제고를 위해 한-아세안 관련 주요 이슈 및 하반기 예정된 센터 주요 사업을 공유하고, 주한 아세안 학자 대상 연례 설문조사 결과를 공유했습니다. 이어진 토론 세션에서 참가자들은 향후 주한아세안교수협의회의 활동 방향 및 계획을 논의하고 한-아세안 관계 발전에서 주한 아세안 학자가 어떤 역할을 할 수 있을지에 대해 의견을 교환했습니다. 앞으로 한-아세안센터는 아세안 학자 간 정기 모임과 출판 등 프로젝트 활동을 통해 네트워킹을 강화해나갈 예정입니다.

On July 14, 2021, the Annual Meeting of the Council of ASEAN Professors in Korea (CAPK) was held online. The meeting was attended by 23 ASEAN scholars from seven ASEAN countries, including professors currently working in Korea and alumni who have previously worked in Korea.

During the meeting, the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) introduced the key development in ASEAN-Korean relations and the AKC’s upcoming programs in the latter half of the year. The results of the annual database survey of ASEAN scholars in Korea were also shared. In the discussion session, participants addressed CAPK’s future direction and activities and exchanged practical opinions on the role of ASEAN scholars in Korea in the development of ASEAN-Korea relations. ASEAN scholars in Korea and alumni will continue to strengthen their network through activities such as publication and regular meetings.
