2020년 한국의 대(對)아세안 투자액은 총 92억 달러를 기록했으며, 업종별로는 제조업이 가장 큰 비중을 차지했습니다. 싱가포르에 대한 투자액이 3억 7천만 달러로 41.4%를 차지하며 베트남에 대한 투자액 2억 6천만 달러(29.3%)를 추월했습니다. 2020년 아세안 회원국 내 신규 한국 법인 수는 786개로 전년(1,394개) 대비 43.6% 감소했습니다.

The amount of foreign direct investment (FDI) from Korea to ASEAN in 2020 was recorded as USD 9.2 billion, with investment to manufacturing sector taking up the largest portion. Investment to Singapore was recorded as USD 3.8 billion (41.4% of Korea’s total FDI to ASEAN), exceeding its investment to Viet Nam, which reached USD 2.7 billion (29.3% of Korea’s total FDI to ASEAN). The number of Korean enterprises that were newly registered in 2020 was 786, which is less than the previous year’s 1,394.
