The ASEAN-Korea Centre released a YouTube talk show on Viet Nam, Indonesia, and the Philippines (VIP countries) on March 31, 2021. H.E. Lee Hyuk, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre and former Korean Ambassador to Viet Nam; H.E. Kim Chang-beom, former Korean Ambassador to Indonesia; and H.E. Han Dong-man, former Korean Ambassador to the Philippines, took part in the discussion. Topics included economic cooperation, impacts of COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 recovery efforts, socio-cultural cooperation (especially regarding the Korean Wave) between Korea and the three countries. The Ambassadors also shared fun anecdotes from their term in office.
