Publication of “ASEAN-Republic of Korea Tourism Cooperation: Fostering People-to-People Connectivity
“한-아세안 관광협력: 인적 연계성 강화” 연구보고서 발간
The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) participated in the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2025 held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia from 15 to 20 January. At the 24th Meeting of the ASEAN Plus Three Tourism Ministers and the ASEAN Tourism Conference held during the Forum, the Centre launched the “ASEAN-Republic of Korea Tourism Cooperation: Fostering People-to-People Connectivity” report and presented the key highlights.
This report was the joint effort between the Centre and the Asian Development Bank and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea. It was initiated in celebration of the 35th Anniversary of ASEAN-Korea Dialogue Relations. The Report provided an insightful analysis of bilateral cooperation and highlights the economic potential of tourism to enhance relations, foster economic growth, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding between ASEAN and Korea.

한-아세안센터는 말레이시아 조호르바루에서 개최된 2025 아세안 관광 포럼에 1월 15일부터 20일까지 참가했습니다. 동 포럼 기간 중 개최된 제24차 아세안+3 관광장관회의 및 아세안 관광 컨퍼런스에서 센터는 “한-아세안 관광협력: 인적 연계성 강화” 보고서를 발표했습니다.
동 보고서는 한-아세안 대화관계 수립 35주년을 기념하여 문화체육관광부 및 아시아개발은행과 공동으로 발간되었으며, 양 지역 간 관광산업의 경제적 성장과 상호 협력을 촉진하는 통찰력 있는 분석을 제공하고, 상호 이해를 기반으로 한 문화 교류와 경제 성장을 촉진시키는 중요한 초석이 될 것으로 기대됩니다.
