한-아세안센터는 10월 13일 “제18차 삼국센터회의*”에 참석했습니다. 이번 회의에서 각 센터는 작년 제17차 회의 이후 추진한 사업 성과를 공유하고 하반기 예정 사업과 2023년 주요 사업 계획을 소개했습니다.

*삼국센터회의: 2013년 1월 제12차 아세안관광포럼(ASEAN Tourism Forum)을 계기로 라오스 비엔티안에서 1차 협의를 가진 후 매년 한-아세안센터, 중-아세안센터, 일-아세안센터 간 협력회의를 개최하고 있음. 매년 1개국에서 의장 역할을 수행함. (△2021년 중-아세안센터, △2022년 일-아세안센터, △2023년 한-아세안센터)

삼국센터 사무총장들은 코로나19가 장기화되는 상황에서도 각 센터의 다양한 사업 형태 모색과 아세안과의 파트너십 강화를 위한 노력을 긍정적으로 평가했습니다. 특히 2023년 의장직을 수행할 한-아세안센터 김해용 사무총장은 차년도 삼국센터회의를 대면으로 개최할 수 있기를 기대하면서 삼국센터 교류를 확대하는 등 센터간 협력의 깊이와 범위을 더욱 넓혀 나갈 것을 희망했습니다.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) participated in the “18th Tripartite Meeting” on October 13. Centres have shared the results of completed programs after the 17th Tripartite Meeting and introduced this year’s upcoming programs and key programs of FY2023.

*Tripartite Meeting: Since the initial meeting in Vientiane, Laos on the occasion of the 12th ASEAN Tourism Forum in January 2013, the meeting has been held annually under the rotating chairmanship among three Centres. (△ASEAN-China Centre in 2021, △ASEAN-Japan Centre in 2022, △ASEAN-Korea Centre in 2023)

Secretaries General of the three Centres valued that they have explored various program formats amid the prolonged COVID-19 and continued its efforts to enhance partnership with ASEAN. Furthermore, AKC Secretary General Kim Hae-yong looked forward to further expanding the depth and scope of cooperation with the other Centres by holding tripartite meeting offline and reinvigorating its cooperation in 2023 under AKC’s charimanship.
