한-아세안센터는 1월 19일 제25회 아세안 관광장관회의에 참가했습니다.

캄보디아 관광부 주관으로 시아누크빌(Sihanoukville)에서 개최된 이번 회의에서는 “Responsibly Reopening Tourism”이라는 주제로 ‘아세안 지역의 관광 개발을 위한 정책 및 진흥 전략’에 대한 정보를 교류하고, 특히 코로나 이후 관광 재활성화를 위한 제도 및 실행 계획에 대한 의견을 공유했습니다.

한-아세안센터는 금번 회의에서 2021년도 주요 성과를 소개하고 2022년도 중점 사업 계획을 발표했습니다. 센터는 한-아세안 양 지역 간 문화·관광 교류 활성화를 위해 노력하는 한편, 코로나 이후 관광 재개를 위한 아세안의 정책을 지원하고 이와 연계한 다양한 사업을 시행할 것임을 강조했습니다. 특히, 포스트 코로나 시대에 대응해 온라인 세미나 등 언택트 방식의 사업을 확대하고 온∙오프라인 매체를 다양하게 활용하는 융합형 프로그램을 계획하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

※ 금번 아세안 관광장관회의는 2021년에 이어 의장국인 캄보디아에서 하이브리드(오프라인+온라인) 형식으로 개최되었으며, 센터는 온라인 세션인 ‘Meeting with External Entities’에 참가함

The ASEAN-Korea Centre on January 19, 2022 participated in the 25th ASEAN Tourism Ministers’ Meeting.

Hosted by Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism in Sihanoukville, the meeting was held under the theme of “Responsibly Reopening Tourism”. The meeting provided a platform for ASEAN member states to share information, exchange ideas, and discuss on policies, action plans and strategies for the development of the tourism sector in the region, especially towards facilitating the reopening and revitalization of ASEAN tourism post-pandemic.

At the meeting, the Centre shared on its key achievements in 2021 towards promoting and revitalizing tourism between ASEAN and Korea, and introduced upcoming programs for 2022. The Centre emphasized its intent to further boost cultural exchanges and support the reopening of ASEAN tourism post-pandemic. In particular, in response to a post-corona era, the Centre will ensure to align its programs with ASEAN tourism priorities and by expanding contactless activities through online platforms.
