한-아세안센터는 11월 17일부터 20일까지 부산 벡스코에서 열리는 국내 최대 규모 국제게임전시회 지스타(G-Star) 2021에 아세안 8개국 (캄보디아, 인도네시아, 라오스, 말레이시아, 미얀마, 필리핀, 싱가포르, 태국) 56개사를 초청해 참가했습니다. 전시회에는 주한아세안 대사관의 상무관들이 참석하여 게임 개발사, 퍼블리셔, e-스포츠 운영사 등 참가 기업을 한국 대중에게 소개했습니다.

11월 16일에는 한국진출을 희망하는 아세안 게임기업을 대상으로 역량강화 워크숍을 개최하여 한국의 게임 산업과 시장 동향, 경쟁력 강화 전략 등 실질적인 정보를 공유했고, 전시 기간 중 한국과 아세안 게임 기업들 간 243개의 비즈니스 미팅이 성사되기도 했습니다.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre participated in the Global Game Exhibition G-Star 2021, one of the largest game shows in Korea, from 17-20 November. 56 ASEAN companies from 8 ASEAN Member States (Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) participated in the event. Commercial counsellors from embassies of ASEAN Member States in Korea presented game developers, publishers, and e-Sports agencies of their respective countries to Korean partners and the general public.

In addition, the ASEAN-Korea Centre also hosted the ASEAN-Korea Game Industry Capacity Building Workshop on 16 November for ASEAN gaming companies seeking business opportunities in Korea. 243 business meetings were held between ASEAN and Korean game companies during the exhibition period.
