The ASEAN-Korea Centre and the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) co-organized the online Workshop for the Council of ASEAN Professors in Korea (CAPK) on November 14 to strengthen ASEAN-Korea cooperation in the field of education and the role of ASEAN professors and researchers in Korea in this regard. Under the theme of ‘Producing e-Learning Contents and Sharing Best Practices’, about 40 professors and scholars from ASEAN who are currently in Korea attended the workshop. Participants discussed skills and tips on increasing quality of e-Learning contents and practices in view of the changing educational environment due to COVID-19.
During the 1st session, Professor Yoon Jae-woong from Yeungjin Cyber College introduced the ASEAN Cyber University Project. In the 2nd session, Professor Vorasuang Duangchinda of Sri Pathum University in Thailand presented his know-how to producing online education materials. ASEAN professors in Korea also shared their online teaching experiences and discussed the future of online education and e-Learning in the wake of COVID-19.
