한-아세안센터는 ‘한국장학재단’, ‘한-메콩 청년 그룹 워크숍’과 ‘청년 캠프(Youth Camp for ASEAN & Friend’s Engagement)’ 참가자들을 대상으로 청년 방문 프로그램을 진행했습니다. 센터는 한국 또는 아세안 국적의 대학(원)생 청년들을 대상으로 진행되는 동 프로그램을 통해 참가자들에게 아세안, 한-아세안 관계 및 센터의 활동에 대한 강의를 제공했습니다. 강의 이후, 참가자들은 한-아세안 미래 협력 방향, 한-아세안의 경제 및 사회 문화적 이슈에 대해 자유롭게 의견을 교환하고, 브루나이·라오스·말레이시아·필리핀에서 파견된 아세안 공무원들과 토론을 하며 한-아세안 협력에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있었습니다.

※ 한-아세안센터는 아세안에 대한 청소년의 인식과 이해도를 높이고 국제기구 진로체험을 위해 ’아세안 스쿨투어 프로그램(초·중·고생)’과 ‘청년 방문 프로그램(대학생, 일반인)’을 연중 진행하고 있습니다. 코로나 상황에 따라 온라인으로도 참여할 수 있습니다.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) held Youth Visit Programs in August for participants of the ‘ Korea Student Aid Foundation’, ‘ROK-Mekong Youth Group Workshop’ and the ‘Youth Camp for ASEAN & Friends’ Engagement’. Aimed towards enhancing youth’s understanding of ASEAN-Korea relations, the program provided an overview of ASEAN, ASEAN-Korea relations, and the Centre’s activities. Participants discussed and exchanged views on the status and trajectory of ASEAN-Korea cooperation, as well as on economic, environmental, and other sociocultural concerns in both regions. Furthermore, participants also shared their ideas on issues related to ASEAN and Korea with dispatched government officials to the Centre from Brunei, Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

※ The Centre conducts the ‘ASEAN School Tour Program’ (elementary/middle/high school students), and the ‘Youth Visit Program’ (university students and general public) throughout the year to raise awareness and promote understanding of ASEAN and ASEAN-Korea relations to the young generation of ASEAN and Korea. The programs are offered either offline or online, depending on the current COVID-19 situation.
