한-아세안센터는 10월 12일(화) 대외경제정책연구원(KIEP, 원장 김흥종)과 공동으로 ‘역내 무역협정(FTA)을 통한 한∙아세안 경제협력’을 주제로 한 「한-아세안 무역투자 라운드테이블」 세미나를 개최했습니다.

한-아세안센터 유튜브 채널을 통해 생중계된 「한-아세안 무역투자 라운드테이블」은 델타 변이의 확산 및 백신 보급 지체 등으로 인해 세계경제의 회복이 더디어질 것으로 예상되는 가운데서도 꾸준히 경제교류를 지속하고 있는 한국과 아세안의 최근 경제 동향 및 무역투〮자 분야의 주요 이슈를 파악하는 한편, 한∙아세안 간 자유무역협정(FTA)과 역내 포괄적 경제동반자협정(RCEP) 등의 무역협정에 대한 인식을 제고하고 활용 방안을 논의하는 자리가 되었습니다.

On October 12, the ASEAN Korea Centre (AKC) jointly organized the ASEAN-Korea Trade and Investment Roundtable with the Korean Institute for International and Economic Policy (KIEP) under the theme of “Regional FTAs: ASEAN and Korea Economic Cooperation.”

The event aimed to identify recent economic trends and major issues in the field of trade and investment between ASEAN and Korea. Participants also discussed trade agreements such as the Korea-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), raising awareness about the agreements and encouraging further ASEAN-Korea business partnerships.
