한-아세안센터는 한국동남아학회, 서울대학교 아시아연구소, 브루나이대학교와 공동으로 “제6회 한-아세안 학술 에세이 공모전”을 개최합니다. 한국 및 아세안 국적의 대학(원)생은 누구나 참가할 수 있으며, 아래의 3개 주제 중 하나를 선정하여 11월 14일까지 http://bit.do/2021akessay로 지원할 수 있습니다.

에세이 주제
1) 한-아세안 상호 이해 증진을 위한 청년의 역할
2) 코로나19 회복을 위한 한-아세안 협력 강화
3) 메콩 지역의 기후변화와 지속 가능한 개발을 위한 한-아세안 협력 강화

최대 10편의 수상작을 선정할 예정이며, 수상자들에게는 총 1,000만 원의 상금과 우수작 학술지 출판 및 웨비나 발표 기회가 부여됩니다.

한국과 아세안 대학(원)생들의 많은 관심과 참여 바랍니다.

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC), in partnership with the Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies (KASEAS), Universiti Brunei Darussalam, and Seoul National University Asia Center, invites undergraduate and graduate students of ASEAN and Korea nationalities to join the 2021 ASEAN-Korea Academic Essay Contest.

Applicants may write on one of the following three themes:
1) The role of youth in promoting mutual understanding between ASEAN and Korea towards a sustainable and future-oriented ASEAN-Korea partnership;
2) Strengthening ASEAN-Korea partnership in overcoming COVID-19 and building back better for greater prosperity in the region; or
3) Strengthening ASEAN-Korea cooperation in mitigating the impact of climate change and promoting sustainable development in the Mekong region

Essay submissions can be made at http://bit.do/2021akessay until Sunday, November 14, 2021 (KST). Up to 10 teams will be awarded cash prizes with opportunities for participation at an academic webinar as well as publication in academic journals.
