In particular, the K-drama has undoubtedly led the K-wave in the ASEAN region. According to the survey conducted by the Korea Communications Commission in 2019, two out of three viewers in five ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand) have experienced Korean broadcasting content, and K-drama is the most popular among them.
