한-아세안센터는 12월 15일 제50차 한-아세안센터 집행위원회* 정례회의를 오프라인으로 개최했습니다.

*한-아세안센터 집행위원회(Executive Board of the ASEAN-Korea Centre)는 주한 아세안 10개국 대사관 및 한국 외교부 대표들로 구성된 센터 공식 감독 및 자문 기구입니다. 연 3회 정례회의를 개최하며, 금번 정례회의는 서울에서 진행될 제15차 연례이사회(2023년 2월 개최)를 앞두고 진행되었습니다.

센터는 제49차 집행위원회(8월) 회의 이후 진행된 제주 아세안홀 개관(9월), 2022 아세안위크(11월), 제1차 한-아세안포럼 (11월), 제10차 아세안 연계성 포럼(12월) 등 센터 주요 사업들의 성과를 공유하고, 차년도 사업에 집행위원회의 적극적인 협조를 요청했습니다.

집행위원들은 올해 하반기 사업들을 성공적으로 평가하며 앞으로 더욱 활발하게 재개될 대면 사업들에 대한 기대를 표명했습니다.

The 50th Meeting of the Executive Board (EB)* of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) was held offline on 15 December.

*The Executive Board of the AKC is the official supervisory and advisory body comprised of representatives from the 10 ASEAN embassies in Seoul and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. While the board holds three regular meetings a year, this meeting was organized prior to the 15th Annual Meeting of the Council Directors of the AKC that will be held in Seoul, in February 2023.

During the meeting, the AKC shared the key outcomes of programs held in the latter half of 2022, including the opening of Jeju ASEAN Hall (September), ASEAN Week 2022 (November), the 1st ASEAN-Korea Forum (November), and the 10th ASEAN Connectivity Forum (December). Throughout the meeting, the AKC sought Executive Board members’ continued support for next year’s programs.

Executive Board members commended on the success of the AKC’s flagship programs and expressed their hope for more actively engaging offline programs in the next fiscal year.
