산업통상자원부, 한-캄 FTA 및 한-인니 CEPA 설명회 개최 (11.30)

산업통상자원부는 한-캄보디아 자유무역협정(FTA)을 올해 12월 1일 발효하고, 한-인도네시아 포괄적경제동반자협정(CEPA)을 내년 1월 1일 발효 예정이라고 밝힘. 자원부는 기존의 한-아세안 양자 FTA(한-싱가포르 2006년 3월, 한-베트남 2015년 12월), 한-아세안 FTA, 한-아세안 RCEP과 함께 아세안과의 경제통상 협력망을 강화하고 상호 수출입 확대에 더욱 기여할 것으로 기대함.

한-캄보디아 FTA를 통해 한국은 수입 품목의 관세 95.6%, 캄보디아는 93.8%를 철폐하여 한국 기업의 캄보디아 상품 시장 접근성이 높아질 것으로 전망함.

ㅤ• 주요 관세 철폐 항목: 화물자동차, 승용차, 건설 중장비, 직물, 의류, 농산물 등

한-인도네시아 CEPA를 통해 한국은 수입 품목의 관세 95.5%, 인니는 93%를 철폐하여 수출 여건이 개선될 것으로 예상함. 이번 협정을 통해 한-아세안 FTA 대비 인니 측 시장개방 수준이 약 13% 제고됨에 따라 다양한 분야에서 상생협력을 이루어 나갈 것으로도 전망함.

ㅤ• 투자 환경 개선 분야: 유통, 건설, 엔지니어링 분야에서 외국인 투자 지분 제한

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MoTIE) held information sessions on Cambodia-Korea FTA and Indonesia-Korea CEPA (11.30)

MoTIE convened a conference on November 30 and facilitated information sessions on Cambodia- Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA, in effect on Dec 1, 2022) and the Indonesia-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA, to be in effect on Jan 1, 2023). Along with the bilateral FTAs with Singapore and Vietnam, the Korea-ASEAN FTA, and the RCEP, the additional trade networks are expected to further contribute to the active mutual entry and expansion of imports and exports between Korean and the ASEAN markets.

Under the Cambodia-Korea Free Trade Agreement, South Korea agreed to remove tariffs on 95.6% of products imported from Cambodia, while Cambodia will eliminate duties on 93.8% of imported goods.

ㅤ• Lifting tariffs on trucks, passenger cars, heavy equipment, textiles and clothing, agricultural and marine products, etc.

Under the Indonesia-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, 95.5% of Korea’s tariff lines and 93% of Indonesia’s tariffs lines are subject to tariff elimination. Tariff reduction commitment is stretched beyond the ASEAN-Korea FTA and, thus, is expected to forge common ground to further enhance bilateral trade and economic ties.

G20 정상회의 계기 「한-인도네시아 비즈니스 라운드 테이블」 개최 (11.14)

한국과 인도네시아는 G20 회의를 계기로 「한-인도네시아 비즈니스 라운드 테이블」을 개최함. 양국 주요 기업인들이 참여한 이번 경제인 행사에서 양국은 ▲경제협력 MOU 개정 ▲녹색 전환 이니셔티브 ▲핵심 광물 공급망 협력 ▲ 인프라 개발 협력 등 총 10건의 양해각서를 체결함.

체결된 양해각서는 ▲디지털 ▲공급망 ▲친환경 ▲개발 협력 등 다양한 분야의 협의 내용으로 구성되어 있으며 이는 지난 한-아세안 정상회의에서 발표한 「인도-태평양 전략*」의 후속 조치의 일환임.

Korea and Indonesia held Business Roundtable on the sidelines of G20 Summit (11. 14)

The roundtable was jointly organized by the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) on the sidelines of G20 Summit in Bali on November 14. Attended by officials and business representatives of Korea and Indonesia, 10 memorandums of understanding were signed for Korea and Indonesia’s ▲Economic cooperation MOU amendment ▲Green transition initiative, ▲Joint mineral exploration and mining project, and ▲Infrastructure development cooperation.

Following the “Indo-Pacific Strategy principles,” the signed MOUs will focus on building consensus in ▲Digital industries, ▲Supply chains, ▲Eco-friendly policies, and ▲ Development cooperation.
